Ready-to-eat chicken ham and Swiss are wrapped with mayonnaise and Dijon. This is a deli-meat wrap, not a recipe for cooking raw chicken.
Ingredients and measurements
- 4 soft flour tortillas, 8-inch
- 8 slices Black Forest chicken ham
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 tablespoons creamy mayonnaise
- 4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Preparation and cooking
- Stage 1
Warm tortillas until flexible. Divide mayonnaise and mustard among them, then add two slices ready-to-eat chicken ham and one slice Swiss to each.
- Stage 2
Fold sides inward, roll securely and brush with melted butter. Place seam-side down in an uncrowded basket.
- Stage 3
Air-fry at 380°F for about five minutes, extending as needed until the center is steaming hot and reaches 165°F. Shield or lower heat if the wrapper browns first.
- Stage 4
Rest briefly and cut with support under the seam. Follow any additional heating directions on the meat package.
Use a packaged fully cooked deli product. The word chicken does not make raw breast slices interchangeable here.
Which chicken ham?
Four teaspoons total means one teaspoon per wrap. Keep it inside the tortilla rather than brushing the outside.
How much mustard?
Refrigerate perishable leftovers promptly in shallow containers at 40°F or below, within two hours or one hour above 90°F. Reheat cooked leftovers to 165°F; keep cold dishes chilled.
