Privacy Policy

Updated September 28, 2026. This policy describes the current A Pinch Of Lemon website: contact by email, technical request logs, disabled Google Analytics, and no active Google AdSense ad loader. Optional tracking must be reviewed before it is enabled.

Scope and Contact

A Pinch Of Lemon publishes recipe content at apinchoflemon.com. You can read the public pages without creating an account. For privacy questions, contact [email protected]. This policy applies to information handled through this website and messages sent to that address; external websites have their own policies.

Reading without an account does not mean no information is processed. A web request can create technical records, and sending us an email provides the address and content you choose to send. The sections below distinguish the present implementation from services that might be enabled later.

Services and Their Current Status

The current website configuration does not load Google Analytics or a Google AdSense advertising script. Visible spaces reserved for advertisements do not, by themselves, establish that an advertising network is collecting data. The services and possible processing relevant to this policy are:

  • Website hosting and delivery: The application records the request method, requested path, response status, and response time. Hosting or access logs may additionally contain IP addresses and other request details.
  • Contact email: Your email provider and the receiving email service process messages. We receive the sender address, message contents, and any attachments you choose to include.
  • Google Analytics: Loading is currently disabled. If enabled in a future version, its data can include cookies, browser or device details, and page interactions. See Google Analytics data safeguards.
  • Google advertising: No active AdSense loader is present in this version. If integrated later, Google's services may receive information from the browser. Read how Google uses information from partner sites and apps.
  • External links: Following a source or other external link takes you to a separate website. Its own privacy policy and settings govern the interaction there.

Information That May Be Handled

Cookies and similar browser storage can remember identifiers or choices. The current version has no cookie-preference or consent interface. Google Analytics loading remains disabled, and no active AdSense loader is present. We are not claiming that hosting infrastructure, your browser, or every external site uses no cookies.

  • Technical records of requests needed to deliver pages and diagnose errors.
  • Messages and attachments that you send voluntarily by email.
  • Browser or network information that hosting and delivery services may process.
  • Optional analytics or advertising data only if the corresponding service is introduced and its controls are configured.

Depending on how you interact with the site and its infrastructure, the following categories may be involved:

  • The requested address and request method recorded by the application.
  • The response status and the time taken to respond.
  • An IP address if recorded by hosting or access-log infrastructure.
  • Browser, device, or related request details available to delivery infrastructure.
  • Your email address and the name your email account supplies when you contact us.
  • The text, recipe URLs, images, or other attachments included in your correspondence.

A fixed retention period for hosting logs and contact correspondence has not yet been established in this published policy. If you need information about a particular record or message, contact us. Do not put sensitive information in search terms or page URLs, because requested addresses can appear in technical records.

Why Information Is Used

Contact correspondence is used to understand and respond to the inquiry, investigate reported content problems, or discuss the request you made. Technical records can support website operation, fault diagnosis, and security. We do not describe future advertising or analytics processing as a current activity. Any change must be reflected in the policy and the actual service settings.

You can manage stored cookies through your browser. There is currently no on-site consent control to click, and continuing to browse is not presented here as consent to optional tracking. If Google advertising is introduced, Google and participating vendors may use cookies associated with prior visits to this and other sites for personalized ads; Google's AdSense disclosure guidance explains that model. Google Ad Settings provides personalization controls. Those controls do not replace any consent choice that the website itself needs to provide.

Updates to This Policy

The date above identifies this policy revision. Before adding optional analytics, advertising, embedded services, or new data-collection features, the policy and the relevant privacy controls need to match the change. Revisit this page for the current description; no automatic email notice is promised.

Questions and Requests

Send privacy inquiries to [email protected]. Describe the request and the page or message involved, sharing only what is necessary. We may need enough information to understand which records you mean, but you should not send passwords or identity documents with an initial inquiry. This page does not promise a fixed response time or a deletion action that has not been verified.
