# Ingredients You’ll Need:

01 - 70 g fresh strawberries, hulled, dried and finely chopped
02 - 230 g fully baked, cooled plain sponge cake, crumbled
03 - 60 g cream cheese, softened
04 - 75 g ready-to-eat butter cookies, crushed
05 - 180 g milk or dark chocolate, chopped
06 - Optional sprinkles

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F (180°C). Spread cookie crumbs on a tray, toast 4–6 minutes until lightly golden, then cool.
02 - Combine cake crumbs, cream cheese, berries and cooled cookie crumbs. Portion evenly and roll into balls; chill if too soft to handle.
03 - Melt chocolate gently following its package guidance. Dip each center, drain excess and place on parchment; add optional sprinkles.
04 - Refrigerate at least 30 minutes, until the coating is firm. Keep chilled until serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Weigh a fully baked, cooled plain sponge cake, without frosting or cream filling. Purchased ready-to-eat cake is suitable. Dry cake mix is not a substitute, and brief microwave bursts are not part of this method. If baking the cake yourself, complete its own recipe first and allow additional time before making these bites.
02 - Remove the green tops before weighing the fruit. Wash and dry it before chopping, then use a small, even dice so one large piece does not split a center. Do not pour accumulated juice into the bowl. This formula specifies fresh fruit; an equal weight of sweet jam would change both moisture and sweetness.
03 - Work with a few cold centers at a time while the others remain refrigerated. Support each on a fork, let excess chocolate run back into the bowl and slide onto parchment with a second utensil. If a center falls apart, return the undipped mixture to the refrigerator before shaping again. Avoid adding water to thick chocolate.
04 - Choose one scoop size and use it for the whole batch, then round the portions gently. Smaller pieces need more coating surface for the same amount of filling, so the final count and chocolate coverage depend on size. Do not promise an exact yield from an unmeasured scoop. Keep the tray level while the shell sets.
