# Ingredients You’ll Need:

01 - 1 lb (450 g) ground chicken
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1 small onion, finely diced
04 - 1 bell pepper (red or green), finely diced
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1/2 cup tomato sauce
07 - 2 tbsp ketchup
08 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
09 - 2–3 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional for more heat)

12 - 4 burger buns, toasted
13 - Optional toppings: sliced pickles, shredded lettuce, cheese, mayo, or coleslaw

# How to Make It:

01 - Finely dice onion and bell pepper and mince garlic. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Soften the onion and pepper for several minutes.
02 - Add garlic and stir briefly. Add ground chicken and break it into small pieces. Continue cooking and stirring until the chicken reaches 165°F.
03 - Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup and Worcestershire. Add the lower amount of Cajun seasoning. Simmer about five minutes until the sauce coats the filling without excess pooling.
04 - Taste and adjust seasoning or optional cayenne. Toast the four buns. Divide the filling among them and add chosen toppings immediately before serving.
